Trained as a lawyer and a city planner, Attorney Jay Eigerman practices land use law, specializing in real estate development.

Mr. Eigerman represents residential, commercial, and institutional owners and developers to secure all necessary government approvals at the local, state, and federal levels. His expertise includes conducting zoning and permitting due diligence, devising and implementing permitting strategies, community outreach, presenting to legislative and administrative bodies, and writing zoning and permitting opinions for financing.

His project experience includes real estate development at many scales, ranging from rehabilitation of single historic structures to high-density transit-oriented projects, and mixed-use proposals on tidelands subject to the public trust.
